e-Bidding System

Conditions:

Tender Form along with BOQ  may be downloaded on Local Government Website www.lgkp.gov.pk after publishing in the news paper. Following documents may be attached with the Tender Form:

1. Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council valid for the year 2019-20 with appropriate specialized category.
2. Registration with Local Council Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with receipt of the renewal for the year 2019-20.
3. Attested NIC copy.

Note:

1. In the absence of above documents the Tender Form shall not be included in the bidding process.
2. Unrelated Contractors who do not possess the criteria are not allowed to participate in Tender.

iii. 2% earnest money in shape of Call Deposit of the bid amount (Original) may be attached with Tender Form. All these documents attached with the Tender Form / BOQ may be sent to the undersigned and duplicate copy of the same also be sent to Office of TMA Thall through Courier Service.

iv. Contractor or his representative is not allowed to deposit the Tender Form by Hand or through Fax.

v.  Tender shall be received upto 12.00 pm on due dates and will be opened on same days at 02.00 P.M otherwise, the tenders will be considered as cancelled/ not accepted.

vi. The undersigned can reject any one or all the tender with a cogent reason.

vii. All testing material cost from the laboratory will be borne by the contractor.

viii. The bids offered below on MRS applicable/ non scheduled items will deposit additional security as per Govt: Policy in shape of call deposit. These guarantees will be discharged on the expiry of defect liability period of the contracts.

ix.  The item rate system is replaced by above below system on BOQ based on MRS applicable and hence above/ below should be applied.

x. Contractors who quoted their rates in website through E-Bidding system and fails to submit their documents and 

    not withdraw his bid timely will be treated as per directive of Local Council Board KP vide notification No.

   AOI/LCB/Estt:19-6/17 dated. 19-06-2017 and work will be awarded to the responsive bidders/contractors as per

   Provisions of KPPRA rules vide notification No. KPPRA/M&E/Estt:/1-5/2016 dated. 24^th may 2016 .

xi. Incomplete/ conditional bids shall not be accepted.

xii. The work will be started immediately after issuing of work order. In case of absence of the Contractor for non starting of work, the Contract will be cancelled and his security / earnest money will be forfeited.

xiii. All relevant taxes will be deducted from the contractors’ bills.

xiv. Tender Form, document and Call deposit received through fax or by hand will not be acceptable.

xv. If equal rates in the bids are offered the decision will be made as per Government Rules and policy.

xvi. Attorney holders (representative of the contractor) should come with proper attested documents and NIC of the concerned contractor and authority letter by the contractor, otherwise, the Tender form will be rejected.

xvii.   Work Order will be issued subject to availability of funds and no contractor / bidder will have a objection on it.
